Position Highlights
Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a privately held investment banking firm in Baltimore to hire an Asset Manager, Real Estate Capital.
The ideal candidate will bring asset management experience, preferably in real estate, and will work closely with the Director of Asset Management to support the firm’s transaction origination, structuring, and securities distribution teams.
- Serve as a key member of the team providing asset management services for the firm’s servicing and asset management portfolio.
- Assist with construction loan portfolio management, including processing draw requests and closing out completed projects.
- Handle specific requests from borrowers, trustees, and debt investors related to post-closing matters.
- Review and analyze legal documents to determine the best course of action for servicing-related requests.
- Support the equity portfolio, including:
- Communicating with tenants, property managers, and third-party service providers
- Assisting with annual insurance renewals
- Performing weekly, monthly, and annual cash management activities
- Preparing financial statements
- Supporting SPAs with annual tax return preparation
- Bachelor’s degree with a solid foundation in accounting principles
- Self-starter and collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
