This role is fast‑paced, proactive, and centered on building pipelines, accelerating deal flow, and opening new market opportunities.
This is not a maintenance role. The incumbent creates momentum, forges strong partner relationships, and consistently delivers results through relentless outreach, strategic engagement, and a growth‑driven mindset.
Partner Acquisition & Pipeline Creation
- Identify, prospect, and recruit new high‑value channel and referral partners
- Lead outreach, discovery conversations, and executive‑level meetings
- Set clear expectations for referral activity and revenue goals
- Activate partners quickly to drive near‑term opportunity flow
Revenue Ownership
- Own partner‑sourced deals from introduction to close
- Drive urgency, next steps, and accountability across all engagements
- Work closely with internal sales and operations to ensure efficient deal closure
- Forecast revenue accurately and consistently
Partner Enablement
- Position energy procurement and energy efficiency solutions with clarity
- Equip partners with messaging, playbooks, and go‑to‑market assets
- Navigate coopetition dynamics within partner ecosystems
- Maintain strong executive‑level relationships that lead to ongoing referrals
Operating Discipline
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting
- Track partner performance against KPIs and revenue targets
- Continuously refine partner strategies to improve output
- 5+ years in channel sales, partnerships, or business development
- Proven hunter with a strong history of opening new relationships and closing revenue
- Working knowledge of energy procurement and energy efficiency markets
- Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, commercial real estate, or mission‑critical sectors
- Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and urgency in driving outcomes
- Highly competitive, metric driven, and disciplined
- Must be based in the DMV region
