Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with a trusted client who is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to manage and enhance the management of customer service contracts and enterprise agreements. This role is essential to ensure their services are delivered under clear, compliant, and enforceable terms. The Contracts Manager will also maintain oversight of leases, vendor agreements, and third-party provider contracts, contributing to risk mitigation and operational efficiency. 

Customer Contracts
  • Draft, review, and manage customer-facing agreements for all lines of services.
  • Create clear, enforceable terms that define scope, responsibilities, and risk allocation.
  • Partner with sales teams to support new contracts and service expansions.
  • Advise during customer negotiations, ensuring legal compliance and balanced commercial terms.
  • Standardize and integrate contracts from acquired companies to align with internal best practices.

Enterprise Agreements

  • Manage a wide range of contracts including leases, vendor/service provider agreements, IT/MSP contracts, licensing agreements, and NDAs.
  • Ensure all enterprise agreements meet legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Interpret complex contractual obligations and provide practical, actionable advice.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, IT, accounting) to align contracts with business needs.

Contract Management & Compliance

  • Maintain a centralized system for all contracts; ensure visibility, transparency, and tracking of renewals and deadlines.
  • Communicate key contract terms and obligations across relevant departments.
  • Identify and implement improvements in contract management tools and workflows.
  • Stay current with legal and industry developments affecting fire and life safety compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of contract management experience, ideally in a service-based or regulated industry.
  • Strong grasp of legal terminology, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
