Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with a premier full-service insurance provider in search of an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with small and mid-market group clients, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing strategic support on benefit plan design and administration.

  • Manage and support a diverse portfolio of small and mid-market group clients in their employee benefits programs.
  • Provide expert guidance on Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the design, renewal, and execution of benefit plans, including facilitating open enrollment processes.
  • Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to analyze benefits data and prepare insightful client presentations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to address plan-related issues and resolve concerns effectively.
  • Stay informed about regulatory updates to ensure client compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by proactively addressing inquiries and offering tailored solutions.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in employee benefits account management, ideally with small and mid-sized employer groups.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare compliance, ACA regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
  • Outstanding communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • College degree preferred but not mandatory.
