# ESTIMATOR

Howard County, MD

### Position Highlights

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a global specialty commercial construction subcontractor to identify an Estimator. This hands-on role is responsible for developing accurate material and labor estimates for luxury commercial restroom systems across large-scale construction and renovation projects. Working closely with Sales, Business Development, and Design, the Estimator will own the full estimating lifecycle, from initial takeoffs and scope review through revisions, value engineering, and final submission, while ensuring each quote aligns with project requirements and deliverables.

 Key Responsibilities

 Qualifications

- Review project drawings, specifications, and scope documents (architectural, MEP, and GC bid packages) to develop detailed, accurate material and labor cost estimates for restroom product systems, taking into account cost, materials, and production time
- Take ownership of the full estimate lifecycle for assigned projects — from initial takeoff through revisions, value engineering, and final submission — keeping quotes updated as drawings evolve
- Work closely with the VP Sales, Business Development team, and Design team to clarify scope, resolve open questions, and ensure quotes align with what has been sold and what can be delivered

- 3 plus years of estimating experience within a General Contractor (GC), subcontractor, or building products/manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam — this is non-negotiable for the role; strong with numerical data; able to manage multiple concurrent projects/quotes
