Position Highlights
CSP is partnering with a commercial real estate development team specializing in light industrial and warehouse properties in their search for a Junior Leasing & Operations Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of commercial real estate, including leasing, acquisitions, development, construction coordination, and tenant relations.
This role offers broad exposure to the full real estate lifecycle—not just leasing—and is ideal for someone who is analytical, relationship-driven, and eager to learn. Real estate experience is preferred but not required.
- Support leasing activities across a growing 600,000+ sq. ft. light industrial and warehouse portfolio, including proposals, renewals, lease negotiations, market research, and business development outreach.
- Assist with acquisition due diligence, underwriting, and market analysis for new investment and development opportunities.
- Coordinate tenant improvement and build-out projects by working with tenants, construction teams, and internal stakeholders while tracking project progress.
- Build and maintain tenant relationships, serving as a liaison between tenants and internal teams to support retention and customer service.
- Assist with property budgets, forecasting, and administrative responsibilities, including maintaining records in Microsoft SharePoint and Yardi (training provided).
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Self-motivated, analytical, and proactive work style
- Strong mathematical aptitude; comfortable working with numbers, financial data, and quantitative analysis
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- May be subject to pre-employment background check
- Fluent in English
- Experience in commercial real estate, property management, construction, or a related field
- Familiarity with light industrial or warehouse product types
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort with Adobe Acrobat and Smartsheet
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (Claude or similar) for drafting, research, and workflow support
