Microsoft Dynamics Administrator

Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with a national employee benefits firm to identify a Microsoft Dynamics Administrator. In this newly created role, the Microsoft Administrator performs duties under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, though specific tasks will often come from other stakeholders across the organization. This role has direct responsibilities related to the general administration of the systems, configuration and customization of reports, and onboarding of new users into the system, and must be able to work collaboratively with all teams across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The list below outlines examples of duties and responsibilities required for successful candidates.

  • Serve as the primary support and administrator for:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Microsoft SharePoint
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations
    • Microsoft Power BI
    • Microsoft 365
  • To own custom reports in Power BI as defined by stakeholders and leadership within the organization
  • To regularly perform general maintenance, field and value updates, error logs review, and any release management of the systems above
  • Manage and maintain user access, permissions, and new user setup
  • Regularly perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, apply corrections, and engage with stakeholders to reconcile or update data as needed
  • Partner with team members to train and onboard new users into the systems as indicated above
  • Monitor system utilization and automations to verify adherence to established processes and practices
  • Participate in departmental and team meetings to review and weigh in on systems strategy, issues, and best practices
  • Assist with modifying and maintaining system customizations, including fields, predefined values, workflows, automations, and templates
  • Work with IT consultants for development updates to the systems
  • Be responsive to system and reporting requests

Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, SharePoint, Power BI, and Project Operations.
  • Ability to work within a team through change and challenges in a manner that supports the achievement of goals.
  • Ability to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with leadership, staff, and vendors; exercise tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • CRM experience (Microsoft, Salesforce) strongly preferred
