Chesapeake Search Partners, a search and consulting firm based in Towson, MD, has been retained by a respected local nonprofit in search of a Senior Vice President of Growth & Partnerships.  This is a high-impact executive leadership role at a pivotal moment in the organization's momentum.

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the SVP of Growth & Partnerships will partner closely with the President & CEO to drive enterprise-wide growth, shape long-term strategy, and lead all aspects of External Relations. This executive will spearhead the development of diverse and sustainable revenue streams through growth initiatives, philanthropy, and strategic mergers, while inspiring leaders at every level of the organization to embrace innovation and expansion.   • Provide effective and inspiring leadership for the Strategy and External Relations teams.
  • Promote dynamic collaboration across teams; Strengthen the alignment of goals and roles, foster open communication, and deepen a culture of accountability.
  • Identify opportunities for accretive growth and partnerships; Drive strategic excellence to support the transformative vision.
  • With the VP of Strategy and division leadership, ensure the successful completion of current initiatives and define new initiatives aligned to the strategic plan and growth strategy.
  • Lead development and implementation of system-wide initiatives in business development, external affairs, and marketing.
  • Work in close collaboration with the President & CEO to ensure successful delivery on growth goals.
  • Partner with the President & CEO to represent with external stakeholders, constituency groups, and other interested parties.
  • Ensure the continued financial viability of growth and strategic initiative through sound financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree and five years or more of executive leadership experience in strategy, business development, and external relations required; a master’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and partnership building preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading strategic initiatives across large, complex healthcare organizations.
  • Experience in influencing and working effectively across large organizations.
  • Experience in planning and executing high-stakes meetings and convenings.
