Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing, multi-location operating business to identify a Staff Accountant to join its team in the Towson, MD area. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to core accounting functions while growing alongside a business that is expanding and evolving its financial operations.
- Support daily accounting activities and help ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
- Help with month-end and year-end close tasks and financial reporting
- Work with internal teams to provide clarity on financial data
- Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc financial projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 1+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
- Coachable and eager to grow in a scaling, multi-location business
