# STRATEGIC FINANCE & FP&A MANAGER

Baltimore, MD

$130k-$160k + Bonus

### Position Highlights

Chesapeake Search Partners is seeking a Strategic Finance and FP&A Manager to join a reputable, growing organization.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role primarily drives business performance by translating financial data into actionable insights that inform decisions across the organization. The person will partner closely with operational leaders to improve decision-making in areas such as pricing, operations, and strategic investments.

 Key Responsibilities

 Qualifications

- Partner with sales and operational leaders to analyze performance across facilities, delivery networks, customer programs, and strategic investments.
- Evaluate performance against budget and forecast, identify key variance drivers, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Support pricing, contract evaluations, customer profitability, and other commercial analyses.
- Build business cases and investment models using NPV, IRR, ROI, and payback period for growth initiatives, technology investments, capital allocation, acquisitions, and operational projects.
- Develop scenario analyses to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including revenue, operating expense, and capital planning.
- Partner with operational leaders to ensure financial plans reflect underlying business drivers.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and the board, while improving visibility through meaningful performance metrics.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, internal controls, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Improve financial planning, reporting, and data integration through automation, standardization, and AI-enabled solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or a related finance function.
- CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and scenario-planning skills.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
