VP of Finance

$175k-$200k + Bonus

 

Chesapeake Search Partners has been retained by Roland Park Place to identify their VP of Finance. This is a key leadership role that is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all functions within Roland Park Place’s Finance department and serves as RPP’s Risk Management Officer. This position will grow into becoming the next CFO, as well as collaborating with the Leadership Team and Board to align financial strategy with the overall vision of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership and Strategy 

Through demonstrated leadership, assists the CEO and supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the organization and ensures efficient operation.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as a financial liaison to the Board of Directors and Finance Committee, presenting financial analysis and strategic insights.

Accounting and Financial Management 

Supervise the Accounting and Finance team ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in financial operations.

Financial Reporting and Analysis

Review and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the CRO and other stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting

Asisst in the development of annual budgets and long-term multi-year financial forecasts.

Revenue-Cycle

Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and payment posting.

Treasury Management

Help manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Compliance and Risk Management

Assist in the monitoring and enforcement of internal controls to safeguard assets.

Leadership and Collaboration

Supervise, mentor and develop accounting team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Other

Problem Solving: This position requires the ability to identify problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information, develop, and implement viable solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

- CPA preferred

- Must have working knowledge of Type-A and Type-C Entrance/Accommodation Fees and varying refundability options

- 10+ years experience in a healthcare setting (nonprofit) preferred.

- Experience in a Consulting Care/Life Plan Retirement Community Setting is required.

- Debt/Bond financing experience is a plus.
